Trouble with z3ta+

Hi guys, im having some trouble with z3ta+, im looking for something that closes or opens filters over time and cant find it. I know the lfo´s can do that but im looking for something that closes/opens the filter and then stays at a certain value and doesn't open/close it again.
I tried with envelopes but there every time i hit another note it re triggers and starts over again, so for instance if i want a new sound to slowly enter into the track,id like it to start having 0% volume and then it should slowly receive more "energy", i cant use envelopes here because there are different notes that are supposed to "sneak in".
Does anybody know if there is some way to tell an envelope to do the same effect but not to start over again if i hit another button??
or is there something else that can be done??

| Look into using automation to do this. Manually set it and you should have the result you are looking for. |
