I was not really that well informed about Bob Dylan and his carreer but this movie really painted an avant-garde portrait of this All-American hero (Yes, that would be the ideal term).
In my opinion, this movie is not for everyone. You have to see it with an open-mind. I personally enjoyed the cinematography and photography, the acting was ace and the soundtrack rocks. I'm not too familiar with Todd Haynes's work but this really left a mark.

Watched this on a crappy 7" TV in the back of a headrest on my flight to Tokyo; fantastic film none the less.
Almost spilled my coke when I realized my friend was the guy playing the odd waiter boy...
