so yeah
i figured that at least some of you actually play the sports as well.
so i've got a soccer injury.
happened on friday. took a direct hit between the goalie and the attacker, ( i was defense) don't how it happened really
but my ankle got fecked in the middle.
couldn't get up for about 5 minutes. guys told me to
heat up some vinegar squeeze it and wrap it up
or do the whole salt in water routine.

so i did that, on sat i couldn't walk.
sunday i was limping
monday i moved from Manhattan to Brooklyn...i know, not the best time
tuesday, worked in the biggest, floppiest shoes i have.
and today, i'm actually walking a whole lot better in sandals
but it still hurts and right now, my foot is kind of swollen.
WTF. my ankle is getting better, but my foot being swollen is a new one to me.

I once went up for a rebound and a taller heavier guy grabbed it, and swong his elbows to get everyone away... he hit me in the temple and i passed out :wtf:

this was in practice too not a game. Thats about it.

And you didn't go to the doctor because???
daydreamer
because i'm hispanic,
and hispanic people don't go to the doctor...duh.

we're afraid they might deport us, if we do.

srsly though,
i didn't think it would be this bad.
i've had worse injuries and i've usually recovered fine.
this one is baffling me though.
it got better, to the point were i could kind of walk
but then my foot got fat. strange.

plus i just moved to NYC, no medical insurance atm....:(
so yeah....

Well... last Turkey day, me and my friends did the traditional thing and had a tackle football game at the park. I was playing QB (as I always do), and my O-line just decided to sleep and this guy who is like 6'4, 280lbs... gets me as Im about to scramble out, and falls onto my leg, my foot was jammed into the ground as he was falling onto my knee ramming it into the ground.

I couldnt walk right for a month, couldnt bend my leg for 3 months.

Yea, no doctor either.

ouch!

i'm walking better now,
still some pain and discomfort but i'm working on it.

twice a day, hot water and epson salt,
then i keep it wrapped up.

apparently i have a fractured bone.
got all the blood squeezed out of my fat foot,
once that was done, got my bone popped so that it could heal correctly,

that fecking hurt!!! i was laughing throughout the whole ordeal.

so yeah.
