Preferred carts for timecoded vinyls

What, if any, are the preferred cartridges to use in a setup like Serato Scratch Live, etc.? I'm assuming that someone is manufacturing carts that are "specialized" for use in this particular application, but even if that is the case it surely doesn't eliminate the use of other cartridges, right? Thanks! :D

I think the only thing that matters is the strength of the output signal. So get carts that have excellent tracking and high output as sound quality doesn't matter.

I think Serato recommends the M-447s??? I use Shure Whitelabels and haven't had any problems. But I don't scratch.

So if the output of the carts are higher, would that result in less pitch-drift *COUGH* TORQ *COUGH*. Just wondering cause im clueless about the topic and would love to improve torqs pitch bending...

Higher output only translates into a stronger signal. As for your pitch drifting that probably doesn't have anything to do with the carts you are using.

Yeah, the M-447s are more for scratching, the M-44Gs are basically the same thing for cheaper.

I don't know why but my M44G's do not seem to work with Serato's timecode vinyl... Why?!
