So I could really take or leave "Red Carpet Mile", but I am really pleased to say that "White Pockets" is a definite return to something I'm actually really liking from Steve Lawler. Chuggy, brooding, glitchy, hypnotic, a little wonky - I just like it all around.
Excited to play it soon, samples and purchase @ Beatport. :) |

Sounds like you are referring to doppelschicht's drop the bottle mix imo. Original of both I found pretty boring... but this drop the bottle mix is pretty fun. |

Nope, do not like Dopplehichts mix at all. Starts out sounding like it could be OK and quickly becomes boring, monotonous, and bland as hell IMO.
I'll agree with you on RCM, however. |

upon second listen (aka being completely sober)...
I still like doppels better. :D It has so much more to it... although there is one sound being used it in that I'd like to rip out. |
