In Fort Worth we call these people "All Hat, No Cattle"...
These are the same kind of folks who max out numerous credit cards and ruin their credit to make car payments on a Audi or Hummer they cannot afford, wearing fake Mavados or Rolexes doing cocaine and steroids they cannot afford... or they are just plain douches who no one would hang out with b/c they are douches. So, they pay to be around other douches like themselves.
This is how you can spot them....
