My Questions Thread

1. Should I send a Thank You card after an interview. I really want this job, I don't want to appear desperate but I'd like to set myself apart from the other candidates.

2. Should I go to my high school reunion? I didn't care for most of the ppl I went to school with and haven't stayed in touch with any of them. I feel like I should for curiosity sake and to tie off that loose end of my life but on the other hand its awakened all the negative feelings I had about high school.I hate how reunions make you feel like a competition of who has made good with their lives and who haven't.

3. Sara likes sweaty blue collar guys who are into huntin n fishin and I like Brett Favre. Do we have enough in common to start serious internet relationship? :gsmile:

My way of thinking is lets not beat around the bush, you have a need to fill, if you like me in the interview and think I'm the best candidate then hire me otherwise I doubt a brown nose thank you card is going to make them pick you if there is another candidate that is better.

it is like 4 sentences maximum and takes no time at all, not that i'm in a position to hire anyone but when i get to that point i would never hire someone who didn't send a thank you. i know people in the position of hiring people who feel the same way. it's just what you do. not sure what type of position you are going for but if this is a job you are establishing a career in you better.

Wow, I've never heard of sending thank you cards after an interview. I hope I never get to the point where I'm snobby enough to not hire someone who didn't send a card.

1. Of course not. That's just stupid. Like sending a thank you card to some bitch you ed.

2. Only if you've done something amazing with your life.

3. I think so. Life is short, just go for it.
