That's right folks! Mario Best has finally decided to come out of hiding and will be playing at Circus on Sat 9/20. He would like everyone to join him in celebrating another birthday! You know what that means! Get those dancing shoes ready!

Oh and that's now all! DJ Tw33k will be playing right after Mario Best! Yup, it's going to be one of those nights! If you were at Circus any of the times these 2 guys played on the same night, then you'll know what I'm talking about! FUN TIMES and lots of hard booty shakin music! Time to bring it back to that back room!

who are these guys? read the other thread about spundae/circus, why doesnt circus just book some of those acts without spundae...
they dont seem to be booking as "big"(armin, ferry, tiesto etc) of acts over at avalon as what it seems they did at circus. |

The current economy affects everything, just like it affects all other types of businesses. It's hard to keep a large budget when there's not enough money coming back in. And that is affected by many factors, one being management/mis-management (however u wanna call it).

2 things
1) Dont with Mario Best.. He is a great person and a great DJ.
2) This is the back room, not the main room. The back room is usually where locals play so who cares if these guys are known or not. |

Sounds from the other posters that Spundae used to book Armin,Ferry,Tiesto etc at Circus.
Now they are at avalon on saturdays yet the talent they have been booking isnt these so called "top level talent"(dont want to offend anyone)
The "top level talent" in LA on saturdays has been at Vanguard
Ferry, Sinclar, Sasha, Digweed,Tiesto, Armin etc
did a switch from circus to avalon also result in a decrease in spundaes budget for booking the "top level talent"
Spundae in San francisco seems to get top level talent at Ruby Skye on a regular basis(Sasha, Tiesto, Darude, Armin,Blank and Jones etc) |
