V-Fest was awesome! Except for the assault on Noel G from Oasis.

Deadmou5 and Moby killed it! Lee Burridge was wicked too!

Wish all that would have been in the headlines.... Instead we have this video:

Video

"Guitarist Noel Gallagher of the English rock group Oasis was attacked while playing on stage Sunday evening at Toronto Island Park.

Oasis was midway through its headlining set at this year’s Virgin Festival when a man rushed the band from the side of the back-stage area and pushed Gallagher during the 1995 hit Morning Glory.

Security personal apprehended an unnamed intruder who was later charged with assault.

After a short break, Oasis did return to the stage to complete the concert, performing wistful hits Don’t Look Back in Anger and Wonderwall and three other songs before finishing with the Beatles’ I Am the Walrus.

However, the mood of the performance and of the crowd was notably subdued upon the show’s resumption."

I have never and probably will never make so many god damn mojitos in my life. 12 hour days no break.

well five minutes to talk to Lee Burridge in the back until I got told to get back to work.

But overall, heard Doman and Pettigrew for the first time and was super impressed, tough crowd though. I think it was a combination of the break dancers and the time of day their slot was but it seemed no one was dancing to the serious beats that were being dropped. or they're just not house lova's.

Lee Burridge was excellent, but I hate how he only had a 1 hour set. Never really noticed how CRAZY his eyes are until this weekend. They resemble clouds in the sky. no joke. Love how he played My Release, and it was kinda funny for me because it was the track I was listening to from Global Underground 19 in the car as I pulled into the parking lot before the festival.

Umm. Moby really impressed me. Didn't realize he played so hard. When he dropped Porcelain I stopped making whosever drink I was making, closed me eyes for a sec and had a moby moment dancing around with a co-worker. <3

Deadmau5... made out with a chick who jumped up on stage! lol. I wonder how Sydney feels about that?
Musically: I guess it wasn't the right place for him.!

Sydney actually pumped up the crowd. I've never been a big fan. But I know others love her. I actually didn't mind her set at all.

Wish I got to check out more of the festival but whatevs. I had a blast and even if I don't work next year, I will definitely go and Jam depending on the line-up.
