It's when you burn a high-alcohol content spirit then draw the gas into your lungs with a straw.
A lot of people say that the alcohol just gets burnt off and this method won't get you drunk, but my experience tells me otherwise.
When I was younger I used to do a few in a row within minutes of arriving at the club and having no alcohol prior. You go from sober to tipsy in about a minute flat and it feels like a punch in the chest. |

Lol, I used to do that with the left over drops of sambuca shots. Works like a charm :crazy: |

I was once serving at a pub when someone tried to do a flaming shot and failed HARD, lighting the alcohol-soaked bar mats in the immediate vicinity on fire. Was pretty funny.

Vodka is my drink.. I'm a huge vodka snob because it's really the only liquer I like, so I'll pay for the good stuff. AHHH! It drives me crazy when people think Absolut and Grey Goose is so great... IT'S NOT. All they are great at is marketing. Best vodkas I've had are these:
Jean Marc XO... made in France. No mixer needed, goes down like ing water. you're hammered before you know it because you forget what you're drinking:
Made in Belarus at the famed Brest Distillery... impossible to get in the U.S. I discovered these when I was in europe a couple years ago. They make several different types but to me, the best is their Birch vodka and Maple vodka. The Birch is so silky smooth, it's insane. I put a splash of birch sap juice in the glass with the vodka and it's great... really light and soft, and smells like a flower. The maple is good to drink without mixer... it's got a nice little sweet taste.
and this one from the same distiller....
took me 2 years to finally track down a European food and alcohol store in New Zealand that imported this product, and I can have it shipped to the US from there. |

and yet it's a fact that digestion uses up a fair share of body energy (thus during the fight-or-flight response digestion almost stops) and we do feel sleepy after meals. truckers never go out on the road after a meal, i heard one say that's suicide. it's not the tryptophan in turkey, it's just that digestion is taxing.

Come on Beat Blog..
5-HTP is a precursor to serotonin. 5-HTP replenishes your serotonin levels, it doesn't make your brain release more so if you have normal serotonin levels, 5-HTP will have pretty much nil effect. Of course if you're coming down off 5 pills, then it may be different, but even still.. It's nothing like dropping a pill :P That's the way you're making it out to be :P |
