I've heard that the pot will absorb coffee flavors and will affect how the tea tastes. Does anyone have any experience with brewing tea and coffee in the same pot?
wienerschnitzel
yes. it made the tea taste like coffee.

breu there are these special tea pots made of this clay from china that absorb the minerals in the tea water and after a while of making tea you can add hot water to the tea pot with no tea and you will still get tea

Man, how many times can one use the word 'tea'?

Tea.

Yes - you aren't supposed to use the same one for coffee and tea as the oils from the coffee inevitably remain and flavor the tea.

I also don't wash my coffee press in anything other than scalding hot water, and then just wipe clean with a towel.

I think the real problem here is that you guys actually consume coffee.

Tea is infinitely greater than coffee. Infinitely.

Also, I don't mind whether people call me Jake or Jacob, but is it ever weird when people who usually call me one go and call me another.

That means business is serious, and coffee and tea are equally advantageous. :o

Now, to figure out your middle name. Full name means very serious business.
