How 'bout you get your parents to let you sell some of those very expensive softWARES to get a bigger hw fund. Oh, can't? Shii...
Don't get in the game if you seriously can't afford it. Getting a setup is one thing, getting tunes is a whole different deal. You will end up spending more on those anyway.
But so that I won't just be bashing, here's a couple of suggestions.
For that amount of $$$, I'd seriously advise against getting any hw-players or such. You'd just end up hating them (cue ppl piping in with "I started with beltdrivens from the sixties and loved every minute and plugged cables back and forth behind mums stereos for a mix"). Get a midicontroller/soundcard all-in-one -thingy and use it. Like some of those Hercules consoles or Behringer things. You can get much more out of those and are less likely to get frustrated over ty gear. |

With student discounts that is still at least $1000 worth of software.
And why anyone would want to buy all 3 of those sequencers beats me lol.
Anyway, no equipment you buy for under $1000 is going to safely last 3 years. Buy a soundcard and use virtual DJ. |

This.
Or save some ing money and buy a worthwhile set up. $300 isn't going to buy you anything worthwhile at all. Nothing.
I'd say you need at least twice that, minimum. |

hmm... $25 for a crowbar, another $40 for a black jumpsuit and ski mask, $50 for a good set of lockpicking tools...
yea, probably the only way you'll get solid gear for under $300
