She was a teen, probably in poor rural area (that's where you find pesticide more easily), with a poor understanding of what was going to happen. On top of that, there's all this nonsensical scaremongering and the low levels of education in rural areas in general (specially in developing countries). Can you really call her stupid? She had no accurate information to rely on, and hell knows what she thought could happen (depending on her imagination, it would be a lot less painful to die at home than in a black hole).
That's simply sad. |

if i got sad every time religion made someone do something stupid, i'd be pretty ing depressed pretty much all the time. |
