Me and my fiance want to go but are car will not make it and gas is so damn expensive. I was wondering if anyone was looking to carpool up to S.F. We will chip in for gas and munchies.

Hopefully someone has room in their car. We live in Riverside right by UCR.
Thanks

Has anyone taken the CA shuttle bus? We're thinking of taking it so we can sleep, do whatever on the ride up there from Santa Monica.

If you both can wing it and have a whole days worth of travel time (total time) you can take Amtrak. $120 round trip ea. It is a 12hr trip each way. ;)

At the current time I would agree but if they can't find a carpool the train price doesn't go up. ;)

As I said, at this current time I would agree, but as it gets closer, this becomes false. If he were to buy tickets now he can go for under 100 if he chooses the right flight times. ;)

If you are smart and leave monday instead of sunday, it is loads cheaper. But I also understand that not all can do that.
