Hey it seems whenever I use my carts with the SSL timecode vinyl it doesn't track it correctly.
I have Shure M44G's
However when I use some crappy stanton ones it works perfectly fine. Why is this?!!?! I'm using SSL this saturday at a gig so worst comes to worst I'll buy new carts. |

Carts are a tough one to call over the internet.. Sounds stupid but have you made sure all the connections on the carts are screwed together correctly? There could be something wrong with the headshell?
Otherwise can I ask why you can't use the stanton carts if they're tracking ok?
I was going to buy new carts for SSL recently when i asked myself if i really needed them as the signal coming from them was sticking on or close to 100%... So i'm still using some e ones..
Sorry I can't help you much more. |
