You can do it free, but it is illegal in most countries.
Check out www.shoutcast.com
it has plugins/software which enable you to make your own streaming radio station.
Or if you mean it a tad different, just send demos to the online radio stations you like. If you're lucky they'll contact you for a spot on their stream. |

Also check out www.stickam.com.
Free streaming for audio and video, and there are a number of radio stations that stream on there. |

There 1 program I have used for streaming broadcast to different types of servers. Sam broadcaster but you can you use 14 day free trial of it and all. But if you want to buy it then the price is around $279.00. I used it and all so far on my vista machine and had no problems minus 1 issue with with FireBird database. The issue was when I tried to access my control panel folder would close on me. So to fix the issue I had delette .cpl file for FireBird in system folder and then my control panel folder worked fine but acessing the control panel for FireBird was not working but database still worked fine without it.

But since I have retail version of it there another option I just remember you could do to. There 3 packages 1 pack for $65 or 6 pack for $325 or 13 pack for $650
Here is more about it and all.
SAM Broadcaster 4 - DJ Seat License
Who is required to buy this license?
If you run a single station, but have many DJs where each DJ operates certain timeslot(s) on your station and runs a separate instance of SAM Broadcaster in order to do so - you require a DJ license for each DJ. Traditionally EACH DJ should have bought a full SAM Broadcaster license, but we know this can be very costly for small stations.
Thus we provide DJ Seat licenses to make it more affordable for smaller stations.
What are the limitations of this license?
* This license is only valid for a SINGLE station. If you have more than one station/channel you need a new SAM Broadcaster license for each station, BEFORE you buy additional DJ Seat Licenses.
* The license does not grant the DJ any other rights to use SAM Broadcaster in any other means. The DJ may only use SAM Broadcaster to broadcast to the registered station. Using SAM Broadcaster for any other activities are not allowed. Its the responsibility of the station owner to make this clear to each and every DJ.
Cost:
The cost is $65.00 PER DJ that runs a local copy of SAM Broadcaster to host a timeslot on a radio channel.
NOTE: Remember, you first need a full SAM Broadcaster registration key for each station/channel you operate, before you can buy any DJ Seat Licenses for that station/channel.
How the DJ Seat License works:
For each DJ seat license you purchase a new SAM Broadcaster registration key will be generated. This key should be given to ONLY one DJ and will expire every 4 months. A new key will automatically be generated before the expire date though, which can then be sent to the DJ again.
This system merely aims to protect the station owner from DJ's leaving their station and then using the keys to run their own station. |
