Everyone outside the media who knows College Football knows that OSU is overrated now and has been for the past few years....why they get through the season, with some luck, into the BCS Championship and then get blown out.
Big Ten is overrated, too.
If this one is even close, I'll be shocked. |

Yet, compared to teams like Florida, LSU, OSU, USC, FSU, etc....Miami's players are like Saints.....don't really hear abotu anyone getting in trouble, ever....and yet, they are still stuck with a rep caused by players in the LATE 80s and EARLY 90s......Miami is the reason there are so many rules against celebration, taunting, etc....lol
I'll call them The U (plus do The U handsign lol) whenever I'm talking among friends or in a Hurricane's related forum...but not in a place like this. |

Dave - don't worry..my Seminoles will kick the U's butt again this year :)
I'm seriously thinking about going to the OSU-USC game tomorrow for the heck of it. just don't want to pay $300 for a ticket! |

| For me I think college is a little more exciting because the players are trying to get to the NFL and the games don't seem to be as predictable. Also I think if you grew up near a big college sports team or went to a school that had a decent sports program you obviously tend to be into it. My friends that went to small schools just don't seem to understand what it's like tailgating and going to a game with thousands of crazy students. I graduated from a Big 10 school so yeah, I'm a fan! |

| im an ucla fan as well, and with norm chow drawing up the x's and o's along with Rick N. recruiting, we will be competing for a BCS game in no time |

Seriously. We wanted Norm Chow soooo bad....we the fans. Probably couldn't afford him.
People forget UM is a private college with not a whole ton of sports funding. |

LOL, I actually grew up loving both the 'Noles and The-U. I dunno why....when it would come to them playing, I'd go for the one that had the best chance of playing for the national title or something.
Since moving out here, I've def migrated to being dedicated more the Canes. I like watching the Noles and go for them, but Cane's are my team now and will always go for them .
People hate on me when I say I can like both teams....lol.
But at least we all have one thing in common. F#@k the Gators. Urban Meyer and his ego can go to hell. Urban has insane methods of doing stuff and it's slowly starting to bite him in the ass. |

i went to FSU so of course they are my team. i actually loved the Canes back when they had all the attitude...and the teams to back it up. |

I love college football and all the football threads as it's my favorite sport.
Since I'm an USC alumnus, I'm obviously going with the Trojans to win it!!!! We've been waiting a few years for this exciting game!
