As far as phobias go that one isn't all that unusual. People think it's weird because 'phobias' are one of those psych terms that get misused very frequently and largely misunderstood. I once knew a girl who had a phobia of boats. No, she wasn't afraid of going on them and having them sink, she was just afraid of boats in general. You could buy a little toy boat at the dollar store, show it to her and she would run away screaming. :nervous: |
