yea i figured it was some remix but obviously i didnt know which one... i just put dub cuz there were no vocals...

at the beginning when it was really packed i was in the back behind the vip by the steps. then when it cleared out a little i went to the front. was front left side most of the night and towards the end was in the front middle.

Very good set and party, B+ grade IMO. Nice sized crowd, yet not overly packed at all (except for stage front), with room to move and breathe in the room
Markus started soft, built it up nicely and then tore the place down for 2 hours straight with great track selection, energy and flow to that part of the set. IMO the energy & flow of the set was not the same during the last hour, yet he still delivered some nice tracks during that time as well

alright heres the full review:
got to mansion around 12 just cuz i didnt feel like jamming to chico secci forever. i also wasnt drinking just because i got way too hammered the night before at hooters for a buddys bday so i def had to minimize the time inside mansion without good music. so anyway, got there at 12, huge gay line out front. waited for about 10 minutes, then got to skip the line cuz had bought the tickets online. :) i feel bad for some of those people in line though. they werent letting guys in without girls. at all. which made me wonder though, cuz as soon as i got inside it was still a cockfest. oh well.
it was pretty packed when we got inside. just hung out by the back saving energy. too many douchebags smoking cigars though. i ing cannot stand that smell. oh well. chico was boring, just as i predicted.
around 1:30 markus finally came on and opened with the first two tracks from his new compilation, the one he did for A|X. the first half hour he played very vocally, but then quickly turned harder playing some ing rocking basslines. just sucks ass about mansions sound system. bleh, never changes. the lighting system was incredibly ty as well. decent at the beginning but quickly went downhill. for g&d in jan they had really dope lighting. guess the guys were just lazy on saturday.
overall markus played more vocally than anything else... personally i wanted him to play harder, but after hearing the san fran gdjb world tour, this is what i was expecting. but it was by no means bad. markus rocked it. amazing transitions like always. plus he in played my ing tune!! still dont know the name of it, too lazy to find the name really since its been on like 4 different sets already. but hopefully ill figure it out today when they broadcast the set in 30 mins. :)
ended up leaving around 4:30 just cuz i was too tired. had a pretty damn good time.
just cant believe how many douchebags + skanks were there. its not that this is what mansion is, but rather this is just what miami is turning into. terrible. when we went to the bar to get some water, we saw the bartender girl give a guy his tab to sign off on and he was ing eating the receipt! totally g'ed out imo. saw a couple people get kicked out too for whatever reasons. saw A LOT of really ed up people stumbling out of the club. 95% of the people there werent there for markus. they were there cuz "omg its like mansion and we're gonna get a bottle and get laid and get sooooooo hammered." :rolleyes: notice how laid comes before hammered. ;)
but whatever... markus rocked it... so ima shut up now. :D
