1. Because the "wall" was supposed to be your personal guestbook, while informing who which person you "just added as your friend" is distracting news. I just dont see how these two kinds of platforms belong together. I click "show posts by others" but it wont even stick for good.
2. No. You gotta click the info part each time instead of it being part of "your page", or whatever is left of it.
3. It not friendly to the eye and would be suit better to websites like nickelodeon or cartoon networks. |
1. It is smart because it is a chronological view of what happened. Having 10 places to find small quick tidbits is stupid. Really what you are complaining about is the fact that you are not an effective internet user that can just find the info you need and discard the rest mentally.
2. Oh because you look at someones personality info 100x a day looking for a change. yeah ok. Don't complain about stupid like this. FB is not a dating site. You can use it like one, but that is not its intention. www.match.com sounds more suited for you in this aspect.
3. It is friendly to the eye. It has colors that help your eyes separate the different posts, text sections, etc. How is that NOT easier on the yes? |

Send feedback. They're still working out kinks, details, where should be placed and what will be there and not when it's all done. So instead of unraveling your hate for it here, let them know... and because you know you're not alone, you're not the only one who has complained about certain sections..they'll take that into consideration.
Who really is on Facebook that often to really hate it this much? :p
Birthday + location are on the side under the persons picture, which are more visible than having to scroll for it.
All that junk + nonsensery is there, in the "info" tab. If you can't spend a .2 of a second to click a tab. No hope for you. |

| This discussion becomes absolutely ridiculous. Do you honestly want to "convince" me what is friendlier to MY eyes and what is not? Are you calling me and the hundreds of thousands of facebook users "uneffective" because we'd like to have an organized seperation of different kinds of information? I dont log on to my facebook to have a chronological report of "whatever happened". My primary goal is to communicate with others, while being bombarded with "Breaking News" and the documentation of my own actions is something totally different. |

Turn it off. You can say what reports to your feeds. This is by and far another example of your own inefficiency. |

You click once. It isn't 100 clicks to get to the center of the tootsie pop. It is one. |

Of all people I am curious of your reasoning. |
Just laziness really - I liked everything on the one page. I also don't like how the wall now dominates the majority of the page. Now, with all the feeds and profile updates combined, everything just looks cluttered. I know you can filter but again, that's more clicks. And as for applications, it's almost like they didn't know how to deal with them so just shoved them into some kind of 'misc' tab. I liked how I had mine scattered throughout my profile before.
In terms of ease of use, it's no different than the older version. Everything is just one extra click away, which as I mentioned is just laziness on my part really. I guess I just liked how I got my profile looking before and don't particularly like how it looks now. |

How ironic that it mimics the FB login page. |
