Hi Guys, I am new here, I have been going through forums to try and find a solution to my problem, I am finding it hard to sidechain reverb in Nuendo 2. I have read somewhere to route the fx channel to the Sidechained channel but it doesn't give me this option, anyone any ideas? |

I don't use nuendo, but close.. Cubase! I've never used Nuendo, so I take this from a Cubase-perspective, shouldn't be to different. Just add an FX-channel with a reverb on it with 100% Wet. And after the reverb in the signal-chain, just put the sidechain-compressor and tweak so it receive the signal from your kick or whatever. I Myself always have 2 kick channels in my tracks when I use sidechain. 1 kick is the one you hear, and the other one is muted. So just make the reverb-sidechain receive the signal from the muted kick. Since the reverb is on a FX-channel, you just have use this as an SEND effect. So if you got a vocal-channel you want this effect on, just choose this effect-channel in you send-options and send away some of the signal. The reverb alone on this vocal-channel will now be sidechained. :) Sorry if it's a little blury explained, but I'm really tired atm! xD
As I mentioned, this is how you can do it in cubase.. so none the less it'll show you the principle of how to do this effect..
