The Conservative Party (CP) is looking to hopefully win a majority.
Right now there is no confidence in the Liberal Party as their numbers indicate they were even trailing the NDP (New Democrat Party). <-- That's pretty bad btw...
Stephan Dion is a goof - I have no earthly idea how the hell he made it out be leader of the Liberals...
The CP should win this pretty handily, the only question is, will they win a majority this round? |

Also I question the security infrastructure especial hiring and background search viability. Although it seems a little more frontally secure I really don't feel like much has been done to better position canada.. although the industry side of things just seems to be a shift.. it feels like canada is whoring its natural resources while stagnating in other areas.. but I could have a totally different view and I'm not an authority on that.
Is there a good choice.. well that is part of the reason I was running.. none of them have a total "right" outlook on the future of canada that I've seen, although some have better views than others, and many of the MP's are quite seemingly nice people.
I'd hate to see a Conservative Majority as it makes non confidence motions more difficult, and if the democrats get in in the US it will make policy relations potentially more issued, as harper and much of his staff appear to be very republican. It is mostly the justice and foreign policy things that I fear about the conservatives.. while I am very fundamental in my justice approaches they seem to have totally neglected human rights issues, and I wouldn't support any government that doesn't support human rights, and civil rights in general. |
What's to worry about?
Harper has made the Canadian political agenda pretty clear, including a date to be out of Afghanistan and tougher sentences on those that kill with guns. |

Harpers is an idiot:
He's supposed to be an economist. The retard is playing politics because he knows that economic stress doesn't make people react rationally it makes them change the government.
Not to mention it's lucky that he didn't de-regulate any more then he did or we'd be in as much trouble as the US, maybe more so. |
