Love this. First heard it earlier this year when Orkidea played it. Anyone know a vinyl release date or know where I can download it? It isn't on beatport or audiojelly, at least wasn't last time I looked.
Cheers:D |

The physical release was on Danceteria Music (DANTE007) in mid June, only on cd i believe with the following tracklist:
radio edit
Michael Cassette radio edit
original mix
Michael Cassette remix
Heikki L remix
Roberto Rodriquez remix
The digital release IS on beatport right now and features also Dub mixes of the Cassette and Heikki L remixes.

Was the first tune I heard when I walked into crasher at Magna earlier this year. Set the night up perfectly. Its all about that bassline. |

| Awesome tune. I bought the CD. I'm disappointed the dubs aren't on it thought. Judging from the samples though it sounds like the MC dub has some different parts than their remix. |

had this for about a month now. nice peak epic vocal progressive stuff. not my cup of tea for playing about but i've had it on a CD in the car to listen to.
probably the better side of Cassette's stuff that i've ever heard. |

What's the big deal about Michael Cassette? He has absolutely nothing original to bring the scene (imo) and his songs are way too simple and boring...
I usually prefer to mention the good things about artists, but I just can't find any here |

disagree. yeah they're simple but to me his songs are greater than the sum of their parts type tracks - nice melodies and everything arranged well |

Couldn't agree more.
Very catchy stuff. Almost has that same deadmau5 synth but without all the choppy 8th notes. ( a good thing) |

Michael Cassette isn't a 'he'. It's two guys (Matti Heininen & Erkka Lempiäinen) that are under the alias Michael Cassette. Though, I do tend to agree that I'm not the biggest fan of the Michael Cassette alias. Shadows Movement was a good track, but beyond that I'm not too impressed. Especially considering these guys have made some real stormers under their other aliases Komytea & Squash 84.
I still have yet to hear a track from their Arrants alias yet, so no comment on the sound or quality of the tracks coming from that particular one. |

I have to say that I love there stuff. A few songs of there's that I've played or been playing are:
1. Michael Cassette - Zeppelin
2. Super 8 & Tab - Helsinki Scorchin (Michael Cassette remix)
3. Paul Keeley - A sort of Homecoming (Michael Cassette remix)
4. Royal Kinks - Borrowed Time (Michael Cassette remix)
Especially that remix of Borrowed Time! Haven't heard the Dub yet but I can't get enough of those lyrics. Which brings me to the question. Does anybody know what the lyrics to that song are or where I can find them? I've been looking for months and have had no luck. I can kind of make out some of the stuff he's saying but not all of it. |
