Personally i think Deadmau5 is a tad overated and has obviously benefited favorably from his gimmick, but more power to him for it. |
DeadMau5's set wasn't bad. The most interesting part was the Knights of Cydonia/Daft Punk mashup. He played one pretty sick dark song sometime after that.
The horrible part was getting there early at 9 pm and waiting in ing line until 11:20 PM to get in through the guestlist line. Giant needs to get their together here like at Vanguard. Ryan was definitely right in that you should get presales.
Then, we have to pay $30 instead of $10 and the ******s shut the place down at 1:10am What the ing hell? |

Hmmmm.... I got there at 9pm and got in by 9:40 and only paid $15! Had no problems getting in!
As for the place shutting down early with the lights going on at 1:15am...WTF:whip: Did the Fire Marshall shut it down or what??:wtf:
One word sums up the night = INSANE!!! |

Yes, it was the fire marshall that shut it down. It was TOO packed. I was in the restaurant area, wayyyy better than the main room.
Too many people cutting in line..that was kinda frustrating. Got in line at 9, got in at 10:45
What was his opening track? Loved it. |

That was by far the busiest I have ever seen tentation!!!!
Think it may have been the police and not the fire marshall shutting it down.
I got there close to 9. The opened doors @ 9:30.
Deadmau5's opening song kinda had an Asian theme to it.
And Ryan Sage opened the night like a champion! |

It was pretty insane in there. First time in Tentation, I couldnt beleive how packed it was. But the organization there was a joke.
There were alot of people who paid 60 bucks and they closed the club early. Alot of mad people. |

i hate when that happens. it sounds like everything could go wrong went wrong.
i haven't been to tentation for almost a year. crowd seems very different. i think clubs went after new crowd with the bad economy. |
