Stef quote: Originally posted by spolitta You nailed it. :stongue: lowski it actually kinda sounds like a vec loop. but to re-create it i would say to make a perc loop and add a scream distortion (if you have reason that is). i know some of the presets can give your percs that kinda chunky feel. then add other layers of hihats ,claps..etc.. on another channels. then i think you would be pretty close. as for the patterns?. other then the obvious off beat hi hat, and clap, i would say just go nuts and try a bunch of stuff out until your happy. hope that helps and good luck richg101 set a midi note hitting the offbeat. send the midi to your drum machine or sampler and load up a selection of drum sounds you like to each button on the drum machine. then add a midi arp and a midi echo effect to your midi channel. have a play around and you might get something you like. once you got something similar you should try using dealys and reverbs on each seperate sound. this or grab a vengeance loop or two...:) airwalker1 it's a sidchain all right but try and think of it as push and pull ie on beat off beat. load some samples lay them down then lay some other samples down and move over to off beat and play untill it sound right. this is a ruff idea ive given you so djillicit quote: Originally posted by henryv Sidechain?
