I saw oakenfold for new years (only because lawler and dj dan were after him) and it totally sucked major cock. There was a trainwreck in every mix... then the song would get pitched and it would sound horrible. But this was an exercise in futility as the song would go off beat after a second.

WMC 07 we got stuck watching him at Niki Beach at 3am after the fire marshalls let the music come back on. At that point I was too tired to care who came on... until i heard him spinning. Made me want to crawl in a corner and vommit, which I almost did.

First time I saw Benassi was at Monster Massive 2003..he bored me to death. So did Roger Sanchez that night :p
Have seen Benni twice since and he was sooooooooooooooo much better. Better than I ever expected. Everyone who was at these events loved him.
But yeah, that was awhile ago and I've heard nothing but bad things for the last year, prob longer. Dunno if he plays in different ways and when he goes one direction it's just top-notch compared to the others, or maybe his tastes have changed and it doesn't agree with you TAs. Or maybe he's just lost the passion. Who knows.
