The Leafs Mourning Thread

Well, what a playoff season, and we had many victories and many defeats, but in the end, it was...well...defeat.

lol, yeah sounds very cheesy, I know. Anyway you have to give Carolina some credit, they played hard.

But you have to remember that in the end, the Leafs were really crippled by all the injuries. It's a miracle that we made it so far in such a battered condition.

We'll see what the future brings. As for now, life goes on!

They had a great playoffs, but in the end they beat themselves with giveaways. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!

Leafs sucked this series big time, thanx to Joseph they won 2 games

Well who cares now, they lost, I know ppl will complain for a while about it, but come on look at how did they played, 5 or so goals in 6 games and they want to win the series, they have to score a bit more than that. Well World Cup is starting in like 3 days so yeah, :happy2: GO POLAND

Bah... even though they lost i'm definitely satisfied with they way the leafs played this year.

first they need to concentrate on who they need to get rid of!

1. Erikson
2. Reichel
3. Renberg
4. Hoglund

They need to toughen up on defence, let's hope Yushkie is back first thing next year!

I think Joseph won't sign with the leafs again though! :(

I think he really wants to win a cup before he retires, so he will go to a team that has a real chance.

Leafs were good, but not as good as let's say Colorado or Detroit is! Well that's just my opinion!

I am sure that Detroit is going to take it this year!:tongue3
Dj-HordasH
meh leafs... who cares it's just hockey.
Thankfully it's all over now so we can concentrate on the biggest show on earth. 2 days left now!!!

I say lose Kaberle as well! Sure he makes some great plays in the offensive zone, but he's a liability in their own end! I can't count the number of times he just gave the puck away in his own end to create scoring chances during these playoffs!
Secretly, there's a part of me that's glad the leafs lost, because I'm a habs fan at heart! Next year will be our turn! Vive les habitants!

THEY GOT PUMPED!!! end of story...

they have a curse...
TranceGeek
this always happens with leafs... they get to the 3rd round, and get too cocky and they just get slaughtered... look at the games 2 and 3 vs canes... they were playin like they had already won the cup... you can blame the few players that didnt produce all you want, in the end, its the same ol' story with the leafs... as sad as it is
