Hello,
So, i posted a thread about sound quality of logic a couple weeks ago and got some awesome feedback! Thanks a ton, helped out a lot.
My new question is about the volume of my tracks. I have made all of my tracks nice and clear, but now the tracks volume is about half the volume of the big dog producers songs. I mean i have basically only tried to bring the master volume up to a +6.0 db, but still needs more volume. Ive used the side chain compressor to up it a little, automation, etc. Any tips on making it sound enormous?
Thanks,
Baddddddddddddddd |

A few years of mixing experience. If a song is balanced/mixed well, the volume will be right there with the songs you're referencing against.
As for "how to mix well", that's around a thousand questions all at once. It's like saying "how do I become a brain surgeon, quickly and easily, all at once, without learning basic biology first? I just want to operate on someone right now!" |

I get that you cannot teach me all of your experiences all at once. But you're kind of just telling me what I already know. Im only lookin for tidbits of suggestions, advice, best practices. If you post something and other people post suggestions maybe ill get somewhere ya know? Thanks |

Compressor and Adaptive Limiter should be in the Output channel. AL must be last in sequence. If your track is mixed properly, this will max out your master with the right settings. |
