i think i have learned my lesson- never expect people who have had difficult childhoods to forgive you if you inadvertently offend them... because they will try to get you back...
see the examples working right here on this board... the examples include siblings, family members, colleagues, acquaintances, message board members, club going acquaintances like MJR (from Twilo), etc. :)
