Are you kidding? Does a person need a reason to want time by themselves? That's total high maintenance behaviour if you ask me. |

im in a situation with my girlfriend... here goes
her parents are going to the cottage for friday saturday and sunday...she asks if i can stay on friday and saturday (Saturday was already planned for me to stay there)....i said i think im going to stay home that night... before anyone asks wh y i would stay home, is because 1....im doing work on my house, so it wouldnt make that much sense for me to go sleep over when i can just sleep and go right to work...2. i said i needed to save as much as as possible( drive ford f150) because of debts i have to pay asap...3. i'd have to get up at 620 as a apposed to 720 on a saturday....and shes so upset and all this stuff has come up about me not wanting to be with her and she did something wrong and etc etc...when all it is, is to me at least, is to just stay home that night....if im woking at home the next morning, and staying at her place the next day anyways....
so i apologized because there was an incident not too long ago, that makes her feel real unsafe to stay at her house by herself....so i apologized and reconcidered, but now its al about pity and this and that....
whos right or wrong in this situation?
thanks |

how is it high maintenence behavior if you find some comfort in knowing why your boyfriend or girlfriend isn't going to hang around you for a whole weekend when you thought that you guys were going to? lol
of course if my man said he just wanted to do his own thing or whatever i'd say fine. he has done it a few times when he wants to go jet skiing w/ just the boys so they can do dangerous boy stuff on them. i don't give a , i go shopping or call up some friends and make plans. i've told him i wanted to just stay in and have "me time" too and he was fine. we give each other space when one of us requests it and we don't question it.
i could never just be like, "no i'm not gonna going to see you this weekend" without even giving him a LITTLE explanation...i would appreciate the same in return. |
