It's kind of upsetting psy/goa gets such a bad rap. I'll agree, there's a lot of really ty (imo) stuff in that section of edm, and the culture that surrounds it doesn't help much; but honestly, a lot of it is quite quality music (Shpongle being a very good example, just listen to "Are You Shpongled?" that album is fantastic).
Like I said, I can't get into the whole "OMG CONNECTING WITH MOTHER EARTH HALLUCINATION TIME" hippy bull that engulfs psychadelic music, but I really enjoy some of it.

Yeah, I feel the same way. I can listen to it often, but I tend to not go to psy events for that reason.
That video looks insane btw. |

Well, most edm can be enjoyed without drugs. I'd say you have to be on drugs to enjoy that stuff. lol. But since you most likely aren't on drugs, more power to you to be able to enjoy it. Just not my thing. |
