Hi everyone , been working busy on 2 projects lately , and this is one of them.
This is a first draft and would like to see what you think of this track and what could be better.
Any feedback is accepted warmingly and lovingly , unless you slate it  .

whats up cow men!
lets se what you got here
the bassline its nice, meaby it starts to soon, you know , for the "friendly mix", its not 100% necesary that u make every track with the friendly mix but, just an observation =)
the melows starts
can u downem a lil bit? (volume)
because, with out the melows, the percs and bassline sounded pretty good, but the melows "EAT" pretty much everything XD
so a lil work on the mixdown its what i suggest you to make your track better =)
nice work , nice progress ;) |

few thoughts I had:
-nice production
-intro is way too long for me. 40 seconds of cymbals with reverb?
-I like the bassline.
-don't like the synth that comes in at 5:00. It doesn't add anything interesting.
-I think this is one of those trance tracks that make club goers switch to house music. It's just a little too boring to dance to... However I save my judgment for the final version :) |

Cheers:
As im learning all the time , it was a hihat sample , streched and as you say with added reverb for a bit of experimentation
The synth at 5 mins is actually the bassline several octaves higher , than at the beggining.
But its in its early days yet , |

| when i play it on my system it lacks bottom end power...im not sure if you have a sub base or not ? if you havnt id recomend that you buy one and amaze yourself with the difference it makes when mastering a track for real....if you have one then id recomend boosting the eq a little....add some effects and work on the arrangment and your doing good....keep up the good work...hope this helps.... |

Hey Adi,
As I am listening on my laptop, I cannot give any advice on mixing. So I'll just go on the arrangement and elements.
- The intro hats have way to many reverb on it, you might want to lower that or sidechain those hats, you'll get a nice effect doing that.
- The clap sounds to dry, you could lower the volume of it (so it sits more in the mix), add a bit of reverb and flanger to it (to make it moving) and layer it with a snare drum (it'll be a lot tighter).
- It sound a bit repetitive, there isn't really something new or exciting in the track. You can change that by adding more high to the pluck you used (automating the Cutoff), A pad or atmospherical aspect could also spice this track up.
I think the production is pretty solid, but it isn't really exciting.
Good job! |
