I just saw the funniest EVER. Coke has this new thing where you drink there product and you get internet points to bid on items on the coke website. The commercial said that the grand prize is....and i quote: "A DJ rave party in Ibiza". I mean honstly what the hell were they thinking calling it that. I can just picture a bunch of suites sitting around the coke table wondering how they could come up with a more youthful image for their product: "well now DJ's are hip arnt they?". Im sure calling it a "clubbing weekend in ibiza" or somthing wasnt good enough.
And you just know its going to be some little 17 year old shelterd farm boy thats going to win. Cant you just picture little jimmy from Kanses saying bye to his parent as he heads off to the island of sin for a "DJ rave party". My god can you imagine the sensory overload he would experience.....his freaking head would probably explode. Coke will have a hard time explaining why little jimmy came back with enough E in his blood stream to kill a horse and more STD's then a crack whore |

Lol! thats hilarious. I cant believe they are frigging OFFERING that. Sounds like such a liability. Dont they know 150 million dollars of drugs go down there every summer?! Half of the people are gonna think DJs are like the people who played at their highschool and just played music off the radio.

We have an employment agency making billboards about "a weekend @ Ibiza?" and stuff....it's common knowledge over here :) yay ;) |

thats gold. I wonder if they would have suites from COke supervising everything and fending off the swarms of drug dealears. Can you imagine not knowing ANYTHING about clubbing, drug culture, or electronica, then being dropped into one of the most intense clubbing scenes in the world.
If i went i sure wouldnt want a bunch of suites holding me back. hell i would probably try to get em ked out of there tress on chemicals.
I would have to say that %90 of the people that i know dont know what the hell ibiza is. Its not common knowladge over here....not by a long shot |
