| Hey there, I'm using Cubase SX 3 and I've run into a little problem. I'll load up say 6 different samples, each with effects on them and for some reason Cubase can't handle it: the Disk Cache Usage Meter reads red and Cubase begins to "hiccup" or skip during playback. Now, I'm running Windows XP on a Dual-Core set-up with 3GB of RAM so I know its not a compatability issue. I can run about 90 samples simoultaneously in FL Studio (each with effects) and have no problems at all. Is there anyway to adjust the cache size in Cubase? Or is there any program which allows to distribute a certain amount of cache to certain programs? |
