I remember hearing Bernwerk in a set by Holden quite awhile ago, but not that crazy about it. Really the only tune worth mentioning is Diffusion27, but I would only find it fun in some sort of experimental ambient/idm mix. |

Sure, but the point was to remark upon the fact that its original run time is sixteen minutes long, and produced with that intent.
How little or how much of it anyone listens to is besides this point. |

I guess I just don't see what difference it makes how long the track runs?

It doesn't, especially if only a certain portion of it is going to be present during a mix set.
I only bring it up because its sixteen minute run time is worth noting, as it's an atypically long track.
It really means nothing, pracitically speaking; just a passive observation I felt like jotting down. :D
Anyway, this release as a whole is very much up Border Community's alley, at least as it relates to the past couple of years: creative and intriguing, no doubt, but not something I plan to revisit for multiple listens. |
