Hi all. this is a question for anyone whos familiar with the supernova.

Im trying to use the individual outputs 1,2,3,4,5

I can get outputs 1 and 2 to work independently, but im having no luck on any of the others. Im setting the midi channels correct and the panning is correct. It just doesnt seem to be receiving the midi from the keyboard. its set up like this as per the manual:

output 1 = midi chan 1 - panned left - works fine
output 2 = midi chan 2 - panned right - works fine

output 3 = midi chan 3 - panned left - no luck
output 4 = midi chan 4 - panned right - no luck

output 5 = midi chan 5 - panned left - no luck

Anyone know of any other setting or anything that im not seeing?

cheers

checked that. it seems like its not getting the midi signal from the keyboard coz the LEDs for outputs 1&2 flicker when midi is being recieved, but 3,4,5 dont. ive even checked 6,7,8 and still no luck, just only seems to work on 1&2.

Then, I don't think the problem is on the Supernova's end. Are you sure that you're sending the correct MIDI channel from your controller?

If you haven't done so already, try connecting your MIDI controller's MIDI OUT directly to the MIDI IN of the SN using a standard MIDI cable (i.e., not through a router, USB, computer, DAW etc.) and cycle through the MIDI channels on your controller to see if you are getting signal on the other channels/parts. If it does, then that will at least rule out the SN settings.
