personally i would wait 3-4 weeks to book...last year i was lookin for packages around this time and my friends and i waited till the end of nov and got our package for only $800 and in oct it was up over $1000...prices tend to drop a bit once winter hits. so im waitin till the end of nov most likely again

yeah i noticed the same last year as well. though this year seems to be a bit more expensive regardless of when we book b/c of fuel surcharges. on a good note at least the euro has devaluated a bit since last year. im hoping it hits 1.15-1.20 or so against the dollar.

Yes wait and watch the prices drop as winter hits the tourist market, also look for a direct flight -- its cheaper (most of the time) and theres less chance of your bags getting lost along with being a faster trip> 9 hrs vs 12-16hrs isn't something to laugh about.

IceLandAir
Aerlingus
Brussels Airlines

Virgin Air has the best food ;)

We refuse to fly USA airlines as the EU airlines have far better(food/cost/ect) along with only having to deal with the TSA s only once, we fukin hate the TSA.

More info about TSA bull-> LINK

Also if you think you may be going back to the EU again you should think about buying extras Euro's, we already have enough on hand to cover this upcoming trip. Take the train from Schiphol to central station and don't waste your cash taking a taxi $$$$$

Some links for extra Amsterdam fun:crazy:

im going to have to look into the european airlines. our airline last year was awesome. we flew KLM royal dutch thru northwest and i have no complaints. great food and service. i for one however WILL NOT fly from detroit again. theyre customs officials are the biggest pricks in the world. had absolutely nothing with us and told the complete truth and they just harrass u the whole time. my friend and his fiance' were stuck at customs for over an hour having their ripped apart for no reason at all. definitely checking into those other airlines and other airports.

If any of you need assistance looking for a good place to stay in Amsterdam let me know. I have a few good sources that I like to use and would like to help make the trip more affordable if possible. when I went to Mysteyland I stayed on a Houseboat for the weekend and it was awesome! Highly recommendable. I am looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and having an incredible weekend!

On December 16 ID&T will announce the official line-up :eyespop:

And the Anthem for TE 2009 is a new track of Rank 1.
ID&T updated the official website:

http://www.trance-energy.nl/te2009/pre/

To be honest: I don't really like the track.
