hehe hey I'm just at work right now at the computer with the radio in front of me and Nova FM is playing Southern Sun right now :)

The version that is going around the radio stations is a radio edit of oakenfolds version. I knew this song was in for a radio thrashing for sure (i mean who didnt when they first listened to it, its rapture all over again basically) when the single of it was released in england. In england their music show is called top of the pops, and they introduced a rule however long ago that for a song to be considered for the top 20, the single cd of that song has to be less than 20 minutes in length. So the single got the radio edit, original mix, and another oakenfold song, i forget the name at the moment though.
Whats the big deal? and why is releasing a single like that ? Before that single they released a maxi i guess which had 8 tracks, 2 were the oakenfold song i forgot the name of, one was the radio edit, original mix, tiestos mix, and solar stone chillout mix with 2 more mixes which i have also forgotten. So basically, after the rerelease of the single, i knew for sure it was in for thrashing on Australias tip top radio stations.
For perth people i heard it on 96fm, my girlfriend told me, i shed a tear. But I was happy it wasnt a butchered version of tiestos mix. |

heh .. i am starting to hear SS on nova as well :(
but even funnier, i was listening to nova nights at about 2am this morning (sat morning - don't ask :p), and the guy is like "great new trance track coming up, Rank 1 - Awakening"
