Genius Aplication for itunes

| so just wondering what everyone thought about the new genius program. It's supposed to make playlists from certain songs, and it seems really cool at first, but now i just think it kinda puts random songs in. sure they are all the same genra, like it doesn't put random rock or rap songs when i click a trance song, but i have clicked really dark dirty stuff and like bob sinclare comes up. just wondering what everyone else thinks |

hehe i don't think it has the ability to decipher outside of one specific genre. for example, if it's labelled trance then it can only be considered trance by that program... perhaps you can label your songs "dark trance" etc. etc., so that you can churn out more specific playlists?
dunno just taking an educated guess here, i dont use itunes or genius |

yea ever since i upgraded to 8 it literally ed up my iPod for good and whenever i connect it, it constantly wants to restore it.
tried to downgrade but for some reason it wont let me (something wrong when it tries to load my library since its converted to the new format for 8)
anyone know how to downgrade iTunes for mac osx? |
