| Not much, but if you're wieving wep pages alot, those few extra lines count quite a bit :) And its not the overall quality of the buttons that bothers me but the placement. I'm just can't get comfortable with the screen positioned on the left because of those buttons on the right. Feels funny when typing. |

| What is a crock of is that I get unlimited text for $4.99 a month because of a promotion I got on a long time ago and if I want this phone I loose that and have to pay them an extra $10 over the base data plan to get my unlimited messages back. All this and they won't have 3G here by 10/22 so I'd be paying that for EDGE service. I may have to pass on this, I'd be looking at a $70 a month bill increase for my two phones. |

| Why do you guys send so many ing text messages? Why not just get an unlimited talk plan and talk to the people as much as you want? |

And yeah you have a reason to buy your phone outside of the promo. |

It is convenient when you are not in a position to talk. aka at work. lol |

| Also it gives you something to do when you're bored and the power is out because of a lightning storm :D Sure talking is faster, but you can text several people at the same time and in the time it takes to exchange the same amount of info a simple short talk would, the power is back on and you can go back to watching porn on the internet. |

damn i just realized that i've been with tmobile forever, i remember i signed up with voicestream and they got bought over in 2001, never had problems.
And yea im really considering getting the G1. |

im kind of glad i'm not addicted to small electronic devices, especially fancy cell phones. i could care less about mine. i spend just enough so that people don't make fun of my phone, but not enough to have fancy features like most people with blackberries and Iphones.
no time for the cell phone when i'm not in front of my computer.
when i'm away from my computer it's the one time i can like focus on i need to get done and get my immediate life in order lol |

You know i have mixed feeling. I have verizon (Love them) and i have been waiting for the G-phone for the longest time. I know verizon is getting to get it eventually that's why i am not upgrading my Env just yet.
Now i hate apple. The whole mandatory itunes pisses me off. BUT after seeing the comparisons of the iphones vs the first Gphone, its pretty sad. I am hoping the phones get better. I would NOT get the t-mobile G-1. Its slower than the iphone, no multitouch, no internal memory. Also as a bad bouns, if you live in an area with 3G and you go over 1GB of bandwidth they will limit you to about 6KB!!!!
My personal opinion is to avoid it right now. Wait for another hardware manufacturer to come up with something, hopefully better. |
