Lee played at Otis last year for a fundraiser. A couple of my buddies went and said that place is sick. Def an intimate venue. |

Pretty mixed reviews on Yelp but looks cool for a small, very small place but looks about the size of Anu/Matador/222 Hyde with some really cool decor. I really dont like those narrow places. I get all claustrophobic and hate fighting my way through a crowd to go from one side of the room to the next - especially when it's only about 15 feet across. Seems more like a place to stand around rather than a place to host dance music but I guess it works for Techno - head-bobbin and a lot of bumping into each other. More like a cocktail party kind of scene. Personally just really dislike that scene. Need my space and lots of it. haha
Rich posted some good shots on the "Lovefest Closing party" thread. There's supposedly an upstairs but don't think any of the shots show the upstairs. |

lol pretty much all the shots are from upstairs. the dj booth and dance floor are upstairs. the space behind the dj booth is a balcony overlooking the ground floor. downstairs is the bar and lounge area. it's a small venue (maybe 100-150 capacity), but it works out like a house party and the decor is mad trippy! there's even ninjas hiding in the wallpaper!
