anyone know how to get into a marquee for derby day??

How long is a piece of string?
i.e there are about 200 marquees. Birdcage? Nursery? Domain? |

You have to be invited to corporate marquees by the company hosting, either as an employee, client or person of interest (i.e Jennifer Hawkins).
For Nursery car park you have to either get a marquee yourself through ballot (or "connections") or have a friend who got one and wants to invite you.
You're pretty much screwed, pleb. |

| 5-6 years ago we crashed the anderson consulting marquee. never say never...was funny talking to all these old geezers about absolute hogwash...finally got caught out an hour later..by that stage we had gone through food and drink galore :D |

| pretty sure certain marquees sell tickets. maybe call up flemington racecourse and ask them. sure they would be able to point you in the right direction. |

I was speaking to a guy earlier tonight who works in the Crown marquee every year and he reckons that last year they went through 30 bottles of spirits and 300 bottles of champagne for 300 guests...the catch being that 100 of them were non-drinking asian internationals. He didn't even mention beer or wine on top of that.
