about some of the other djs who made the list...I don't get what the big fuss is about. DJ Skribble for example, is a DJ, and a very popular one. This poll wasn't about who's the sickest, most underground, and talented dj in America. Its a popularity contest, period. People act like its this horrible injustice that some of these more commercial guys placed so high. They have fans. Take a Josh Wink for example..amazing dj. The guy barely plays in the rest of the country. How can you expect people like that to be rated so high? DT, same deal. The guy barely ever plays on the West Coast, let alone the middle States. He may be god's gift to DJing here, but elsewhere, people don't give a . I don't get why people get their panties in such a bunch over these stupid polls. :conf:

+1, I checked out a couple of the ones I hadn't heard of, and a good amount of radio/xm station dj's. I put it up because I'm glad that CL won it, and a lot of the names on there are definitely pretty funny, but it didn't ruin my day to see Mark Farina at #49, haha.

I'd knock on Skribble too, but I saw him in June, and he dropped a really good updated Techno set. It could've been Lee Burridge up there if I didn't know any better. I was surprised.

a few of my friends caught him in AC a couple years ago for some afterhours, and said he was ridiculous....played a completely underground set.

I heard skribble shoots flamming arrows while riding majestic steeds.

Maybe he's pulling a Jay Z:

And the music i be makin
I dumb down for my audience
And double my dollars
They criticize me for it
Yet they all yell "Holla"

I ain't been rhymin like Common Sense

The thing I do like about this poll is that they collect a large percentage of the votes at nightclubs across the US, over 40 in total.

and the sad part is, I would never intentionally go and see two thirds of that list.

Winner!

Maybe back in 2003 I'd agree with the #1 on this list.. but seriously. It's a huge joke. Far worse than djmag.:nervous:
