Come join us for the Launch of Alex Pearce's New Monthly Residency at New York's premiere house music venue Cielo. After a string of wild Tuesday Night parties in the spring and summer Rob Fernandez, Benny Soto, Alex and manager Paul take the party monthly for the fall. Alex has become infamous for his finely tuned and programmed sets at Cielo and the monthly will continue to feature his signature sound of tech House and electro.

Brandishing his signature driven style of electro and tech house Alex Pearce's live preformances take aspiring audiences through a musical journey. Alex's sets boast a unified sound aimed at challenging the audience's senses, and giving them an undeniable urge to dance. With an arsenal of prime mixing, programming and selection ability, Alex has earned the right to rock crowds across the East Coast and South America. During this exciting and progressing voyage Alex has also been honored to work alongside talented artist such as Sander Kleinenberg, Seb Fontaine and Behrouz.
Pearce's cumulative results have garnered exceptional residencies; headlining nights at internationally recognized venues Cielo and Webster Hall in his hometown of NYC. Just as active within the production scene, Alex released "Carbon," on Spice Cadet Recordings in March and "Purpose," a collaboration with Tony Mugavero on Freq1see Records in July. Now with his (w/partner DJ Ebar) Quarterlife Records imprint, Alex has an outlet for extending his lusty NYC house sound across the globe. Quarterlife Records experienced rapid action in '08 with Alex remixing an original of John Digweed protégé, Royal Sapien's original "Everything I Love is Underground"; Alex's own original release, "Dat Sound" was released on the label in mid September. Topped off with successful label and release events that have delightfully surpassed expectations. Looking ahead Alex looks to build on his current success by advancing his production and event portfolio even further.

I have explained to my job that I cannot open on Wednesday mornings, but unfortunately they have not put that into effect for this schedule. The last time I went to one of these events on a Tuesday I overslept for work the next day. That's doubly bad because I'm the one with the keys to the store! I think I'm going to have to be responsible this time. Bummer.
But of course I'll be at all the future ones. I'll have Wednesday mornings off starting the week after this.

Nice, I'm very excited for this manana. Our last party at Cielo in July was bonkers.
Very happy to have The Global Frequencies, Night Reveler and Propaganda crew onboard for this.
We'll have Sir Anthony Lamont hosting the event, Ariel (the best in the game) doing our lights and Lymarie and the girls out dancing and working the crowd.

Congrats on the residency. I was able to get to Cielo for the first time ever after Minitek for Matthias Tanzmann. I immediately fell in love with the room and the sound system. Maybe someday I'll be lucky enough to play there *sigh*. All the best! |
