U know, i normally dont mind Avery and like his style but tonight was just out of line.. not one but TWO intentional wacks at a players head first with a fist and the butt end of the stick and then later takes a smack to the side of that guys head with the stick. Guy is dirty.. one thing to play rough and physical, Thats hockey. But to start using ur stick and taking cheap shots like that is out of hand. He better be careful. He is watched enough as it is and may get a something out of this. The night before he was thrown out. |

John Tortorella agrees with you too, I'm sure... Avery's way up on his list right now, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets bumped down a line or two... |

im all for physical and rough game. High intensity, But when your taking cheap shots like that. U just look stupid. This stage of the game its uncalled for. Stop taking cheap shots and ing get your head in the game and maybe u wouldnt have to work so hard to keep or get a lead every night. Sucks cause the guy has talent. Has the heart of a lion out there but he is dirty and cheap. No place for that. Not now in the Playoffs. He almost cost his team the game but as usual everyone has to bail him out. He is lucky he has a goalie like Henrik or he would be out of there a long time ago. |

On another note, you may have seen that interview with the new Boston University product MATT GILROY... He's like a friend of a friend of a friend of mine, and he's gunna make some big moves, keep a huge eye on him... We wanted him to go to the Devils who were seriously after him too, but in the end, B.U. alum Chris Drury called him up and that sealed the deal...
Let's all hope for all the best to him, it's exciting to see the draft process firsthand... Let's hope he, like many other former Ranger players (and vice versa), ends up at The Rock! |
