| yeah it was a pretty good match! one of the best netball grand finals in ages. hawks did pretty well to win it, despite the efforts of the umpires who had bet on geelong. next year should be a pretty good season too if both these teams are fighting for it again. |

Yes, good game though.
I thought Geelong really threw it away. Ottens missed that open goal and then there was the two set shots from dead in front, one hitting the post and the other a clear behind. |

Oh man, what a great day!
I lost my voice towards the end of it, was at a packed beer garden...
Having money on Hawks to win (under 39 pts) and Hodgey for the norm smith nicely paid for my day as well :D
Dew was awesome, gotta love a big bloke kicking a couple and some awesome tackles! And the squirrel, superstar of the future.
Ablett was sensational as well, so dangerous there a few times to get Cats back on a roll.
But ing oath, GO THE HAPPY TEAM! Theres still a couple more flags in this team, it should be a new golden era for the hawks :D |

I had the best day with 100,011 of my new closest friends.
Hawks hung so tough in the 2nd Qtr when it really could have got away from us. When i had a rest from the sun at halftime i was in shock that we were in front. Croad gone from the 11 min mark of the 2nd Qtr could have been a disaster but the boys hung in there. It was such a team effort, all the crap about Buddy having to kick a big bag for us to win proved to be just that. We were the better team on the day. Actually thought Ablett might get Norm but it wasn't to be.
I'm two from two for being at Hawks Grand Final wins, but this one was very special.
Jumper won't be coming off for at least 3 months, glad number 15 is on the back.:D |

| Just spent $320 on grand final stuff from the Hawks. You can never have enough with 2008 premiers on it. |

Pure. ing. Bliss.
Flags don’t come around very often so when they do you have to make the most of it.

A guy at work got to drink from the Cup yesterday at the Geebung – lucky bastard
