i lived in that area for 7 years.
ocean springs is a pretty cool town.
get used to eating seafood and not paying much for it! i used to get shrimp at the docks off boats for 2.75 a lb. here they are over 9$ for the same size.

i havent, was back and forth from biloxi and west palm beach for about 6 months taking care of from that ing storm. i havent been back, but can imagine. i do miss that place at times. def miss the fishing and being able to goto piers with a cast net, stay there for a hour or two and catch a few lbs of shrimp for dinner

i was at keesler afb in the summer of 2006 and we where still cleaning up a lot of stuff from katrina. but from what i heard biloxi is much improved but still not the same as before the storm.

what will you be doing in biloxi for two moths. i was in the 338th for electronic principles at keesler.

I'm going to be at the Combat Weather and Observing Training Course.

funny, i was at keesler in 06 as well for the Weather Officer Course. my class start date was on the one year anniversary of when Katrina made landfall...awful creepy.

1. new entertainment center
2. computer should have stayed in teh living room
3. good call on keeping the guest room empty
4. do you pick up your doggie turds or leave them to ferment?
5. you buying a new house when you get to enid?
6. did you get the tatoo upon you leaving this duty station?

1) same center, new TV
2) too crowded
3) yes
4) i leave 'em - its free fertilizer
5) yes, i plan on it. houses are around $85,000....how sad is that? but yet good....lol
6) not yet...i'm going to think about it while i'm living in biloxi...will decide in december when i'm back for a few weeks if i want to do it or not.
