can you ask Phil where will the videos be available for download?
Next year would be best to just do Audio/Crowd broadcast at a good quality rather than low bitrate audio and not so great video, last year justin.tv broadcast was not so great...
Oh Well maybe next year... :D |

Chatted with Phil a bit more. He's been working on the float most of today but I'm guessing more likely "supervising." The idea is that there is going to be three cameras. One on float, another with yours truly walking around the parade and on float, and lastly with our other friend or so I believe. I don't know much about the cameras or the refresh rates here.
If I've got the camera you may get to watch me check into the hotel at 4. Exciting!
I just need to make sure to wake up early enough :nervous:
More details tonight since the old crew will be getting a couple drinks. |

Ok so Phil is up in SF right now, getting setup on the float. We aren't probably going to make it up until about 1PM. In our defense we've all had to fly or drive a couple hours.
Phil has a camera on the main float. Tommy and I will have a camera each doing whatever we want. One thing to mention is this will be more pseudo-live than live. The quality of the cameras is great if you record a straight video then upload, but a 100% live video is pretty choppy. I plan on recording for awhile then uploading.
The goal for the afterparty is to get a straight 20-30mins then upload. We will try to do this as often as possible since we are a large bunch that can trade off, but we are there to dance as well. |

just wondering, do you guys have special crew priveleges to shoot video at the afterparty?
cause regular folks like us aren't allowed to bring in a giant ass 3ccd camera right? |

The stream is terrible. Sucks they put so much effort into it and seems like it's all going to waste. :(
