Looks like they started the merger. I have sirius and I now get BPM and Area 38. Though, Area 38 has all the DJ shows now:

Tiesto Club Life
PVD - Vonyc Sessions
Ferry Corsten: Corstens Count Down
Carl Cox Global
Matt Darey Nocturnal
Robbie Rivera- Juicy Show
Paul Oakenfold - Perfecto on Tour
Markus Schulz - Evolution
JP
StoneBridge
Murk
George Acosta
Steve Porter

I thought ASOT was on BPM Before...i dont see any listing for it now, maybe they dropped it?

ooo XM gets Radio 1 now :)

I am seriously furious that the only EDM channel looks to be:

XM 80 Area Shows from world-renowned DJs Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, and Tiesto.

When I bought XM, it had XM 80, 81, and 82. 80 was house/techno, 81 was mainstram, 82 was trance/progressive. This is very very disappointing :(

And the Rhyme is gone too! nothing I like is left

Real pissed at the removal of The System today... the station played some nice obscure prog every now and then. And of course, prior to this, the removal of The Move (especially since right before they got removed, they were playing a good deal of tech house/minimal)... I really hope these stations come back in some form or another or I might have to cancel my service.

We'll see, I like having MLB, and it's still better than regular radio, but this is really f'ing annoying. I'll give it until the end of the year.

Cool that I can now get PVD on my XM player, but I hope they get Armin and Vic back on there, on either the Area or BPM. Digweed (which was on The Move) would also be nice.
Essential Mix is now on BPM, and is 1 hour long instead of 2.
I see that DJ Preach is still on the System (which is now online-only). It's too bad the XM web site doesn't show too much about the schedule for that channel, but I hope that changes soon.
The System also carried Trance Around the World, but they seemed to be 1 or 2 weeks behind the latest episode (which is available as a podcast anyways).
I guess disco really is dead, as they've pulled Chrome (was 83) lol
As for sports, nice that NBA broadcasts have been added to XM (in addition to MLB, NHL, and others). Now gotta get NFL games there.

Is BPM on Sirius? What Channel? Area 38 is what I have on 90% of the time (Used to be Area 33)

Ton of new tracks now being played. I guess they have the tracks from XM, and now combine everything. (Area 38)..so I guess thats a good thing. Sirius played the same stuff all time, so nice to get some other tracks being played..... after driving 275 miles today in the rain, it was nice to hear new

I agree! my 30-45 min commute just got better since they are playing new songs. THey are still whoring out deadmau5 tracks though....
Nice to hear all the different sets/dj's playing. I got sick of just listening to random track after random track.

I searched for a thread like this to see if anyone else was canceling their service. I'm coming from XM.

I'll give the new Area 80 more of a chance, but so far I've been tuning in these last few weeks and have been very disappointed with the programming.

Anyone else listen online and see that XM System 82 is the only channel that says "online only"? I wonder if that will be put back on the satellite or not. It used to play ASOT, etc.

Any way you look at it, going from 3 or so electronic channels
to only 2 is not advantageous. And I would have already canceled if they touched the XM 84 Chill station!!
