I'm not normally one to condone remixing older hits, but I think the Mowgli mixes deserve some special attention. He came up with two totally diverse mixes that not only stand out from one another, but really make their mark on this release as a whole. His deep mix is a nice blend of that new deep house sounding making it's mark at the moment and David Byrne's vocals waning in and out, and who could hate that classic breakdown from the original? Lovely :p Mowgli's Wobblin' remix takes a page out of Switch's book to come up with quite a gritty club thumper, the only thing that bothers me is that little "reeeeemiiixx" thing in there.
There are several other remixes from Moto Blanco and Yego Soundsytem which, in my opinion, played it a little safe. They're a nice update, but a little too predictable. Moto's vocal mix in particular just feels more like an edit than a proper remix, his dub is pretty nice although a bit too housey for my tastes.
